can you believe it that Umi, Guat Han,
an indian girl who is a volunteer in our kindergarten
and I did a lion dance, act as the villagers and
a chinese fan dance at one go today!!!!???
it was so damn embarassing!!!
i kept saying to Umi that i cant believe that im
doing this and yet i did it twice today
because of the 2 am and pm session!
and you know what,
during the pm session i've forgotten my step!
i was happily dancing when i saw Umi's face changed
and when the whole thing ended,
Hiva the indian girl said
i forgot a step just now..
then they laughed at me!!
i was so nervous that i forgot that step..
luckily it wasnt completely obvious
because i was dancing infront and
they just followed my steps
when i forgot the step..
it was really impromptu..
it was really tiring and
the most perspiring part
was when we did the lion dance..
i perspired like hell in the lion head
when hopped up and down..
but it was worth while as the children
cheered us on and when the show ended,
my dearest class came to me and said,
"Ms Mista, i like ur dance especially the
lion dance and the fan dance."
AWWWWW.....
so sweet...
today was the most memorable and
sweet experience for me..
it's good for my portfolio too
(reminded of practicum).. =p
